The Gate to Women's Country. Was " Rhys Ifans!"

This is not quite to the point, but this comment put me in mind of
Sheri S. Tepper's book "The Gate to Women's Country."  I've read it
several times and always come away with spirit uplifted.  It's a post-
apocalypse story that deals with the differences between men and
women.
