Of course! But what I had in mind was especially the double capitalization. I have never heard of a language that writes CHile, LLull, or DZ^ambul...

Good point. Although I'm not a person who could be called a passionate crossword solver, my guess is that in the case of "ij" it depends mostly on how it fits best in the picture.
