Plain brown here. In fact, it's the standard here in Spain. The "typical spanish eyes" are, in fact, deep dark brown, almost black, as my sister's. But that's only because the assumption of "spanish people" for many foreigners is that we are all from the south (Andalucia, specially, which was inhabited by moors for several centuries). You know: "toreadores", sun, flamenco, and all that touristical stuff. Here in north Spain we're a bit more of celtic and visigothic stock, so blue and green eyes are not that uncommon (my mother's, for example); but brown eyes and brown, wavy or curled hair is quite the standard anyway. And it's a pity, because I've always liked blue-eyed girls and they're hard to find here :-) I'd move to Sweden or Germany only because of that, but heck, I like to have 12+ sunny hours in summer ;-) -- Roberto Suarez Soto
