In my understanding, green eyes are extremely common among white people, so
I don't think it's very strange. Now if the non-white conlangers had green
eyes too, you could have a point ;))) .

Same as me, when they are green. Funny enough, I just checked them closely,
and it looks today like my eyes are mostly soft green, with a tendency to
go yellow just above the pupil, and a lunula of blue at the bottom. Strange
disposition...

LOL. Nor do mine AFAIK ;)))) . People just can't figure out what colour
they are, that's all ;))) .
