I'd say don't worry too much about the grammar. You'll probably find the natives' grammar is a bit different to what you learned in school anyway. As long as they mingle and make an effort their French will soon turn out pleasantly idiomatic and understandable. Probably not a bad idea to start speaking bits of French to them at home. A lot of people of "a certain age" find it difficult to internalise new grammatical processes. Mike
