22 here. I got started on conlanging shortly after I found an Esperanto pamphlet
on a Houston BBS service back around 1995. That interest promptly died an
unceremonious death about six weeks later when I decided that I didn't like the
esthetics of Esperanto (sound familiar?), and started on my own, originally named
"Degspregu", then "Degaspregos". It had all the characteristics that most of you
have already seen before: PIE lexis and syntax with Esperanto-plus morphology.
Then, sometime in 1999, I got sick of that too, and started work on an artlang,
which eventually became Phaleran. So, that would put Degaspregos at around
six years old, and Phaleran at around three.
