The amount of end-users is probably pretty low, but it was the standard
for mail servers for quite a while, so sending emails with ISO-8559
characters can get them mangled. And there isn't one ISO-8859 standard,
anyway. People in e.g. Eastern Europe or Turkey won't be able to read
accents properly if they have a mailer that only supports one locale.

Meh. It's typed very quickly and never proof-read. It comes with a *lot*
of typos. You could check my past emails if you could be bothered.
