Of course. Well, all fields here are optional, I think. Even the name field,
since there are some of us who prefer to be known under a pseudonym.

OK. I avoided it on purpose in my example, because I wanted to keep it as
simple as possible. But if people prefer to have this Natlang field, I have no
objections against that, of course.
