Just because you realize that chess is only a game doesn't mean you can walk into a chess tournament and ignore the rules of the game by moving your pieces however and whenever you want to. Yes, what we call "real life" is just a virtual reality video game, and yes, we are really super-advanced beings of pure consciousness who choose to volutarily forget who we are in order to come into this "reality" game and play at being mythical creatures called "humans" and to enjoy its challenges, but just because we realize that doesn't mean we can cheat. We chose to play this game, and while we are here we are obliged to play by the rules. --gary
