CHAT: Subject prefixes; use CHAT: to control posting volume

When this topic comes up, I always try to remind people that there is
a "topic system" in listserv that lets people automatically filter
the list based on prefixes on messages. If you check out the web
interface at
http://listserv.brown.edu/archives/conlang.html
You can adjust your settings to remove all subject lines with CHAT:
near the beginning.
Similarly, I encourage people to add CHAT: prefixes to their mail
when a thread seems to be going off-topic.
This option doesn't work for digest subscribers, unfortunately.
