Somewhere between B) and C) with Old Albic. Many words are based on Germanic
words with unknown etymology because I fancy Albic to be related to the
unknown language that was spoken in northern central Europe before the
speakers of Germanic arrived on the scene. (It is estimated that about
a quarter of the Germanic core vocabulary comes from such a source.)
