Yes, my name is Nicole, which is also Greek for "Victory of the People",
and my middle names are Elizabeth, which is Hebrew for "Oath of God",
and Anastasia, which is Greek for "of the Resurrection" or "of
springtime" (I prefer the second).  My surname, however, is Perrin, and
I have no idea what that means.  In fact, I don't even know where it
originated from.  My father's family has lived in England as far back as
anyone knows, but my French teaches all assume I'm French even though I
vaguely remember reading years ago that the name was of
Scandinavian/Viking origin.  Does anyone have a clue?  Hey, the chances
that anyone here knows are slim, but where else would I ask.  Also,
Irina, please do try to translate my name into Valdyan because I think
it's the most beautiful sounding (con)lang I've ever heard.
