In the same story which mentioned louchebeme, the detective says he had heard
there was a new language, javanais, but he didn't give the rules. Thanks for
explaining it. He added that the fact that he'd heard of it probably meant
real criminals were no longer using it. He did not mention "verlan"--since you
say it is still in use, I expect it was developed later than the time of that
story.
