Let's not forget <croissant>, which comes out with something approximating
an uvular affricate, [q_X] or [G\_R] or [G\_R\].
I'm not a big fan of either French or German, personally; was just pointing
out that German was often regarded as a "harsh" language. I don't much
care for the sound of English, either, for that matter.
I love the sound of Italian. Russian is pretty cool, too.
Going back to conlangs, Klingon is definitely a harsh language. :)
