This is true in the sense of treating a generalized conjunction as a repeated application of that conjunction. But, of course, there are several possible generalizations in the sense that the generalization becomes XOR when restricted to two arguments. In my conlang Gladilatian every conjunction can apply to two or more arguments, and the one which reduces to XOR for two arguments, "fna ... wo", means, "exactly one of". =========================================================================== Dennis Paul Himes <> himes@cshore.com http://home.cshore.com/himes/dennis.htm Gladilatian page: http://home.cshore.com/himes/glad/lang.htm Seezzitonian page: http://home.cshore.com/himes/umuto/lang.htm Disclaimer: "True, I talk of dreams; which are the children of an idle brain, begot of nothing but vain fantasy; which is as thin of substance as the air." - Romeo & Juliet, Act I Scene iv Verse 96-99
