Especially since, as Eric also said, your mails show up as plain text.

That appears for me as "ess tee ee vee oh space space space
left-angle-bracket slash AITCH TEE EMM ELL right-angle-racket".

Or "stevo   [/HTML]" but with angle brackets < > (&lt; &gt;) instead
of the square brackets.
