Re: Strong/weak verbs, expanded infinitives and applicatives

I've never heard of this "broken" vs "sound" plurals.  Which is not to
say it isn't an English thing, but it's not one I've heard of.

As far as "weak" vs. "strong" verbs, the idea is that the verbs try to
resist assimilation into the regular pattern.  Those which are strong
enough succeed in this resistance; those which are too weak fail and
therefore become regular.
