Esperanto seems to have many words derived from Romance
languages, doesn't it? At least that's the impression I got
when I saw example texts not too long ago (without a
grammar and a dictionary, though).

We've learnt that in primary school in the third year
actually ... OK, but don't let us start a flamewar about
education systems again like some months ago where a n00b
was scared away because of that ...
