Ditto. I apologize if I offended you, Patrick--and I'm interested in all
the various languages that have appeared and skim almost every message
when there's time. (I make no claim to *understanding* the majority of
posts, but hey, I've learned so much in the few weeks I've been on this
list, there's gotta be more neat stuff to come.) Certainly you could
have a conlang whose goal was to be "easier" for people who speak
languages like English. It just wouldn't be "easier" for, say, Korean or
Tagalog speakers.
