This makes me lean towards "scientific auxlang adapted to public use", a
natural language would doubtfully have such an intricate scientific
gender system. Not that it's impossible though, but if one said it was a
natlang in their conculture, they'd have a lot of 'splainin' to do,
unless they said it was a product of government-encouraged language
reforms.
This whole idea fascinates me, really. I'd like to see someone take it
to a completed language, but that would take a while, I'd imagine.
