TAN: Scattered Tongues Java error

For what it's worth, I've now become a new member of the Scattered Tongues
Webring, but unfortunately I had to input the LOOOOOONG command by hand.
Consequently, I have a Java error that is making no sense to me, but you
can't log onto my page without getting the annoying message. If you click
"OK" it disappears, reappearing each time you access the page. It seems
to be pointing out an error that I can't find or correct. If you do a
view page source,
(http://www.frontiernet.net/~scaves/teonaht.html)
it's the part that BLINKS in the encoded section. The Java message says
that I've left the argument ";" out, but I haven't. It seems, rather, to
be upset because there's a superfluous question mark.
Line 47:
self.status='Next Page'; return true>Next Page</A>? <A HREF=etc
^
It starts blinking BEFORE the "?" for some mysterious reason, on the
second word "Page."
But everything WORKS in the webring: next, prev, random, first 5, etc.
etc. etc. What's going on? Can someone detect what I can't?
Meanwhile, I'll go take out the question mark, but this should rather
have appeared in my text; it's in between commands, I think.
I need to know more about programming. It was making perfect sense
when I was copying it all in.
