----------------

3.1 Nouns

3.1.1 Gender
All Arveunan nouns have a gender- either masculine or feminine. As a general rule,
all nouns ending in -át, -ion and -a are feminine and the rest are feminine.
Of course, there are quite a few exceptions.

3.1.2 Plurals
Generally, nouns form their plural by adding -s. However, the following exceptions apply:
 - nouns ending in -t or -d loose this and add -s: veritát "truth" -->
veritás, môut "sheep" --> môus.
 - nouns ending in -Vic, where V is any vowel, change the -ic to -sh and add
-es: nòic "night" --> nôshes, epeic "bishop" --> epeshes.
 - nouns ending in -c change the -c to -qu and add -es: abauc "apple tree" -->
abauques, fòc "fire" --> fôques
 - nouns ending in any other consonant add -es: cònt "count" --> côntes.
