No supposition about it. Gaulish was & the all the modern, extant
Celticlangs, except Welsh, still are.
Welsh of the late 20th century has now gone over to the decimal system for
most things, but the traditional vigesimal system is still retained when
telling the time and giving one's age up to about 30 or so - after which
the modern decimal numbers are now more commonly used.
