Tatari Faran and Verb Complements

Hey all, esp'lly Teoh,
H.S. Teoh's Tatari Faran has verb complements, so that verbs
ALWAYS consist of two parts. He uses this device for
expressing different modes IIRC. It feels not unnatural,
but how could such verb complements arise? Is the complement
system Teoh uses indeed unique or is it just another
ANADEWISM?
Thanks,
Carsten
