Yeah, it can sound kind of odd to use a noun like "post" followed by
the verb form of the same word. In cases like that I wish English had
pro-verbs -- which would be like verbs but with meaning taken from
surrounding context, the way pronouns take their meaning from the
nouns mentioned (well, in the 3rd person at least). I suppose you
could say "the post I just did", but sometimes that sounds awkward too.
As for not seeing your post: give it some time. It can take a while.
