In Sweden we have the saying "If a messy desk implies a messy intellect,
then what does an empty desk imply?" I take recourse to it quite often, to
which my wife answers something along the lines of "neatly non-empty
desk". Too bad I don't have that kind of intellect! I'm at least one
notch above Barliman Butterbur, whose mind was the kind of storage room
where things accumulate, so that only the most recent additions are
recoverable. :-)
