Don't be so quick! :) The umlaut is the mark of the stress in
Chasma"o"cho. It is used when the stress doesn't fall on the last
syllable. And when the vowel is written with a digraph, both vowels of
the digraph are umlauted. So here you pronounce it /tSasm'awtS@/ (ao is
the diphtong /aw/). If the umlaut had been forgotten, the word would
have been pronounced /tSasm@wtS'o/.
I'm currently working on the number system of this language, and
looking for a text to translate or an idea of text to write. As soon as
I have something less dry than grammatical features, I'll show you.
