Think of humans. Then think of the various things that feast on just the
one species of human: various tapeworms, and more species of bacteria
then you can shake a stick at, among other things. There are far fewer
mammals then things that feast on mammals. So it is quite possible the
percentage of species that are parasites is above 50%.
