Might've been Shoulson. What happened to him anyway? It was a Jewish member
of the list, that's all I remember.
Hey, I might as well ask now that we're discussing Hebrew... My soon-to-be
wife told me about something in Wash. DC about a Middle East Institute,
which teaches Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Turkish as well as history,
culture, etc. They also have info on the recent developments in the possible
war in the Persian Gulf, with UN resolutions and other info. Is anybody
familar with this? Their website is at http://www.mideasti.org/. I'm very
interested in that, since I'm so much in love with Middle Eastern languages
(and music, and of course my Iranian fiancée ;).
