Her selected set of phonemes seemed restrictive to me, too, but then, it wasn't my conlang. I asked her once why she chose the ones she did, but got the canned reply: a reduced set of morphemes reduces the probablity of aural mistakes. True perhaps, but not an answer to my question. Regardless, Laadan does offer a set of differing posessives, and to reject examinig a property/form/syntax because I generally don't like the language in which it occurs would say more about me than about the language and/or its author.
