Clucks? Are you working on chicken language??? LOL I can't answer your
Xhosa question, but I do know IPA has symbols for the clicks. Zulu uses x,c
and q for its clicks, in combination with g and n, IIRC to represent voicing
and nasality.
The lang I mentioned in another post a few minutes ago, q~'u^pl!, used
clicks extensively. All final consonants in roots were clicks or click-like
sounds. All initial consonants in roots were trills. Affixes muddied the
waters.
