Yes, I was in Kaohsiung for 3 years.  I've been mack
in the Metroplex for aabout 4 years now.  I would love
to return to Taiwan some day.  I had a blast there.  I
have recently been lamenting my lack of time spent
practicing the erhu and how much my Taiwanese has
deteriorated.  Even my Mandarin has suffered quite a
bit.  I need to find more opportunities to practice.
