funny phoneme, an unvoiced version of our j (Sampa j\), a bit on the rarish
side, and some say we are on our way to losing it."
Both my native languages, German and English, have [C], though as allophones
of /x/ in German and of initial /h/ + /j/ in English, in words such as G
<ich> "I" and E <human>.
