Little Ditty

hmm, I think this is the most I've been on AOL in ages, certainly the 700+
emails that clogged my box attested to that. Well, I figured that I'd write
something new in Silindion, which has had to wait since sometime in October for
any actual work. (T'is a sad state of affairs I know!). I came up with this,
that I'd like to share....just for fun.
T'is kind of long, and I wont write any interlinear unless someone expressly calls
for it. I'm tired, and there's work to do...you know, same old same old :)
A Silinéstin,
már matári nëa nañári

Ninísi néinta fuóllo émë vïeryávilya nïossë nórïulerë!

Silinéstin, kústë ó i nosméivi nólëa,

Ah Silinestin, city of the many hundred lights which rises from the rushing
waters like a mountain undiscovered in the mist of a silent dawn. Growing upon
me is the desire to run on thy silver tree sheltered paths! If I should see the
moon-sheen gleaming on thy waterfalls, then my heart would soar to the
beautiful gleaming of the whispering-of-the-silver-gray. Silinestin, lost in
the white waves, indeed thou art the dwelling of beauty, praised by song. Thy
tall and sturdy parapets are jeweled, those which guard the Door of Winds, the
sacred place of the moon.
Respond if you wish :)
Nissa ilkoimili Alarïe ne nissa payeli i diundie
silmaroscea
"May Alarie lay thee down to sleep and may the moon-shine goddess watch over thee"
Good Night All
