You misinterpret--I know how base 16 works :) I know my 'basic' numbers: (and yes, I know I did a bit of liberal borrowing from Latin/Greek/English/whatever) 0 nul (and yes, Di^me'l understands zero, and imaginary numbers etc) 1 man 2 du 3 tri 4 te't 5 pe'nt 6 he'ks 7 se't 8 akt (I'm thinking about changing this one, actually) 9 han A ri^l B mi^n C kad D ga^r E re'v F ne'v 10 de'k 100 ke'nt I don't know 1000 yet, or 1,0000 (commas every 4 digits)..first I'm trying to figure out how to say 11 before I figure out those bigger numbers... One idea I tossed around a bit was doing a prefic thing t'e'ny' triokxpy' the 3 - (I use kxp as my 'standard noun' for placement--it means nothing) so: the 3 nouns so 20 could be duode'k and so on up--of course, 10,0000 would be hard, because I want to state it in the same way we say '10 thousand' And ordinals could just be the adjective form of the number, so the fifth noun == t'e'n kxp pe'ntu'va the noun five (adjective) But then, how do I manage with numbers greater than 10? And I'm rambing on and on while thinking about this :P Then I still have to come up with all the symbols for the numbers, and then figure out how they write all this stuff (because that certainly influences how they speak it, and vice-versa) Hmm.. Any suggestions/comments? -Axiem -axiem@swbell.net
