Depends on how you position your hand and whether
or not you're whacken away on a computer keyborad
or a real typewriter (where not every key so
stricken will actually hit the paper).

Quite. While both movies have thus far been
superior; the books quite easily outstrip them.

But that's not really a complaint: it could
easily have made into a rather long miniseries,
perhaps somewhere in the region of 16 hours, and
still not gotten everything in place.
