All of these are different vowels for me. I assume you mean the 'a' in
alone, though, because the 'o' is the same as 'oa' in boat...One Could
argue that #7 and #15 are the same, but I disagree...putting vowels
before an 'r' seems to do weird things to it, or so I've discovered
