Pete,
1. This is almost like making verbs do the work of cases, which is a cool
idea.
I say "almost" becauses case affixes are closed-class morphemes and verbs
are open class.
That means you don't have to use the same old "have," "receive," "undergo,"
and "give" all the time; you could use instead many different verbs to
convey many shades of meaning.
(In my nonce example, any group of English words joined by semi-colons will
gloss a single word in the conlang)
I-give;by;handing;over child-take;with;hand dog-be;reassigned;a;new;owner
child-give;by;handing;over bone-be;placed;in;clutches;of
dog-take;in;mouth
You could have *tons* of fun making exotic verbs in your language.
