So Russia sort of semi-bypasses Siberia on the way to Alyeska and Oregon?
 Although if we go back to the idea of the Buddhist Russia, it'd put an
interesting spin on the invasion of Afghanistan, and the Taliban's
destruction of those two big Buddha statues.
