Re: Only verbs and nouns

   Though some might balk at the reference (as I don my +5 Flame-resistant
armor) Klingon does this. There are three categories of words: Nouns, Verbs
(the largest), and Leftovers.
   Adjectives and adverbs are treated as verbs, and so can gain all the
layers of verb affixes.

green = <it-no-object>-<be-green>
quietly = <it-no-object>-<be-quiet>
         or
          <it-no-object>-<be-<not-loud>>

   They can take the posessive (if noun), subjects and objects (if verb),
and even the command affix (such as English "Quietly!").

   FYI: The "Leftover" category is mostly conjunctions and prepositions.
(Some prepositions are an affix.) It's an interresting grammar, and worth
the 35 page read if you can find the dictionary. However, it's a bit
unwieldly, since most root words are one syllable, and almost all grammar is
handled by affixes (prefixes and suffixes). And, no, I don't speak it.

| I did the same thing with adjectives -- made them all verbs.
| Lrahran had quite a number of tenses and aspects. But I dont
| think the verbs were all that complicated.
