Good to have you aboard; it's nice to have some folks of "maturity" to
season the list a bit :-). I have also tried my hand at a PIE spin-off,
as have many others here, so you're bound to get lots of advice,
critiques, and commiseration. My current project is a fictional
Southwest native American language, Miapimoquitch, which I've been
working on for the past 10 years, though less so lately as professional
and family responsibilities pile up.

About abbreviations for interlinears. Everyone seems to have their own
system, so it would seem to be a matter of courtesy to explain your
abbreviations as they come up. AFAIK, there is no list standard. For
transcriptions, a version of X-SAMPA seems to be the de facto standard
these days (URL is http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/sampa/x-sampa.htm),
though that is also not official list policy and there are plenty of
people who prefer their own system. Again, a brief explanation is
helpful.

Do show us the language in progress (best in bite-size chunks).
