Nope, I've also seen it used of Ancient Greek (I'm not sure if it applies to Modern Greek), where it's important for stress, something like the stress can never be any further than the third mora from the end. However, I believe that the exact definition varies from language to language, but it's basically a rhythmic unit. -- "If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore, and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God!" - Ralph Waldo Emerson ICQ: 18656696 AIM Screen-Name: NikTailor
