Yes, I always enjoyed doing scripts and had done quite a few.
And when I decided to focus on one particular language,
I simply adapted character sets from my previous inventions:
One for the main writing, one for the numerals, and one
additional set, that could be used for general writing, but
was actually chosen to provide a supply of additional symbols
for whatever purpose they were needed.
Since Ankanian was to be completely independent, it had to
have its own writing system.
