preliminary notes:
- SVO/VSO word order
- u = "focus", basically a non-patient direct object
- numbers can qualify pronouns: "four them" = "the four of them"
i'll just do the first three for now, i might not have time for the rest of
the ten...
-----
> 1. to know
I have four words in Minyeva for 'to know':
- bavi = to know about, be informed of, know facts: know the "what" about
something
- zufi = to know where, know the location of
- tone = to know how (to perform at action, how to work with a person), know
by heart (something to recite)
- vilo = to understand, to know why, know the inner workings of, know the
meaning of
tone le u ki betca
know:how I focus a sword
> I know how to wield a sword.
-----
> 2. contents
- veta = the contents of
bavi le u veta o kwa kleta
know:what I focus contents of that letter
> I know the contents of that letter.
-----
> 3. might
- mujo = to be powerful
other interesting roots/words:
- qetsa = the ground underneath the surface, "subterrain"
- qetsa'pwaci = underground prison
ma mye gledu mo u mujo o te mwasi
must not mock one(person) focus might of the army
tce so vyu vye mlu zike i si u te qetsa'pwaci
(inv) reason four them can [make] located patient you in the dungeon
> The army's might is not to be mocked, because the four of them can throw
> you in the dungeon.
