Yup, that's the one! They still have arguments over minutia there, and they
tend to remain between two particular people. For the most part, I just
phase them out. It is sad to say that the behavior there now was NOT
typical of it even a year ago. When I first joined them back in '96 or so,
it was a very helpful place. Now... well, there is enough good left in it
to benefit me. But when the last of the truly knowledgable leave it, I'll
unsubscribe and forget all about it.

The most embarrasing one has to do with a SETI signal hoax a few years ago.
I responded with a debunk, and of course they chopped my email up and used
it to put a positive spin on things. Ah, the Internet...
