Yahoo's being a bitch? ;))) Well, if you don't have a Yahoo!Profile, then can't
you subscribe by sending an empty e-mail to mailto:conculture-
subscribe@yahoo.com?

And if it still doesn't work, just contact the owner of the list (John Cowan in
this case). He can add you if you ask nicely ;)) . I know Teoh had a similar
problem with the Latex-for-Conlangers list and I just had to use my Strange
Powers to subscribe him :)) .
