OFF: Word of the Day

I found this find quite interesting, especially for language-lovers
like us:

Go there and enter your email address and each day Webster's will
email you the word of the day, every day, along with a (quite
in-depth!) description of the word's meaning and history.

I've found it a great way to build vocabulary because all of the words
I've received so far I have not known... and it's not information
overload because you only get one a day.  Try using the word around
the house for practice :)
