*Tries to think of something witty to say*
*Can't*
*Wonders if words spelt {hus} and {hos} but pronounced /faiS/ and /Auf/
(resp.) are too etabnannic[1] instead*
[1] I could make it magellic instead if Old Fo/tisk didn't distinguish
between long and short sounds orthographically; then they could be as
ligitamately pronouced /Auf/ and /of/, resp. I don't know when to
leave well enough alone, do I?
(For those concerned, it's:
xu:s > hu:s > hy:s > hwis > Wis > fix > feiC > feiS > faiS

One of _hus(s)_ or _hos_ will mean 'house'. Depending on whether I
merge Pidse and Fo/tisc,[2] they might all survive.
[2] This is random throwing-around of ideas for Modern Fotisc. Before
anything definitive is decided, I will have to get Ancient Foietisc to
a more advanced stage, before attacking Old and Middle Fo/tisc. Before
I get there, I may have totally changed my mind.
