'twould be masculine - that's the 'default' gender for any foreign
borrowing
in French.
But BPJ is quite correct in making it feminine in:
"Meghean, la nouvelle langue méchante?"
The adjective agrees with _langue_ which, as _la nouvelle_ makes quite
clear, is feminine (< Latin: lingua). The gender of Meghean is irrelevant.
