You may need to adjust Eudora to use UTF-8 encoding. The behaviour of mail clients
in the face of characters outside the encoding of the current message is wildly
undefined. Oftentimes, they'll collapse characters to the nearest non-special
equivlanet, but that's not universal. I have no idea what Earthlink webmail is
going to make of even this post, for instance, and it's reasonably benign.
Actually, here's "he has left the foyer" in Thagojian, just to exercise it a
bit: ϩελιφτ
ϧανατην /helift ʔɑnɑtɛn/
